Hyink Strings is a family strings group con sisting of Joe, his wife Laurie, and their nine children. The Hyinks live in Carbondale, IL, where they are members of Cornerstone Reformed Church. They have been active in the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC) for over twenty years. Their spring 2025 tour of midwestern and southern states features a wide variety of American music from classical to folk and other popular genres.
