An Evening With David Wilcox comes to Woodlawn Theatre on Friday, September 11, 2026 for a special seated show. Known for his thoughtful songwriting, masterful guitar work, and deeply human storytelling, Wilcox has spent decades building a reputation as one of America’s most respected folk artists. His latest album, The Way I Tell the Story (2025), reflects themes of resilience, love, and presence, shaped in part by his wife’s Parkinson’s diagnosis and the life changes that followed.

From his breakthrough debut How Did You Find Me Here to acclaimed albums like Big Horizon and Turning Point, Wilcox has earned praise from outlets like Rolling Stone and The New York Times for his soulful insight and emotional clarity. Audiences can expect an intimate evening of songs that are reflective, honest, and quietly powerful.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the show begins at 8 PM. All ages welcome.
