Woodlawn Theatre works to fill a gap in the event space options in Birmingham - with a 250 person standing room capacity and a 150 person seated capacity, the Theatre offers an accommodating size for your event. Not too big, not too small. Just right.
Fair and transparent pricing $-$$$
Our room rental rates are built on what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all package. Don’t need an A/V tech? Don’t pay for one. Would you like a valet service? We can add that in. Our staff will work with you to determine what’s necessary for your event’s success while helping your event budget go further. *Base rate is $2,000/day. Events less than 3 hours can be billed at $300/hr. Contact us for a customized quote.

Located on 1st Ave North, Woodlawn Theatre is less than 2 miles from the Birmingham Shuttlesworth Airport. It may just be the closest event space to the Birmingham Airport. For Birmingham natives, we are a 5-minute drive from Avondale and 10 minutes from downtown, and located across the street from Woodrow Hall and Cornerstone Elementary.
