Woodlawn Theatre works to fill a gap in the event space options in Birmingham - with a 250 person standing room capacity and a 150 person seated capacity, the Theatre offers an accomodating size for your event. Not too big, not too small. Just right.

Our room rental rates are built on what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all package. Don’t need an A/V tech? Don’t pay for one. Would you like a valet service? We can add that in. Our staff will work with you to determine what’s necessary for your event’s success while helping your event budget go further. *Base rate is $2,000/day. Events less than 3 hours can be billed at $300/hr. Contact us for a customized quote.

Located on 1st Ave North, Woodlawn Theatre is less than 2 miles from the Birmingham Shuttlesworth Airport. It may just be the closest event space to the Birmingham Airport. For Birmingham natives, we are a 5-minute drive from Avondale and 10 minutes from downtown, and located across the street from Woodrow Hall and Cornerstone Elementary.
