🎸 Marshutes on regrouping, upcoming birmingham show 🎸

Date: September 13, 2025
Location: Woodlawn Theatre, Birmingham, AL

If you like your Southern rock with a little sweat, grit, and a whole lot of heart, then Marshutes are your new favorite band. With gripping lyrics, undeniable hooks, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting, this is a band built for the stage.

Meet Marshutes

Influenced by Colony House and Bad Suns, this crew met in high school, hit pause for college, and came roaring back together in 2023. And their bond is obvious—they’ve got the kind of chemistry you only get from growing up jamming in garages and blasting records together. Check out their latest music video on youtube.

How did you know it was time to regroup?

Sam: “Josh and Daniel went and got coffee to catch up and started the conversation. From there, they called me on the way out and left a voicemail that literally said "hey let's get the band back together". The excitement still hasn't died down.”

We’re here for it - reunions are a beautiful thing. Oasis fans know what we’re talking about…

Birmingham = Home Stage

Where is your favorite place to place? “Birmingham! We love the community, support, and encouragement of local music.”

That kind of love goes both ways. Expect hometown vibes and a crowd that knows the words!

What’s the setlist vibe?

  • Tired of: Slow songs—“We only play one,” they admit.

  • Hyped for: “Everything else. The covers are always a BUNCH of fun.”

  • Well, what’s your favorite cover? “I’m a Believer!” - the band has a soft spot in their heart for the Smash Mouth version we all fell in love with from that 2001 instant classic - Shrek

Expect big energy, catchy tunes, and maybe even a few potentially funny jokes.

Road trip essentials?

  • Music: All AirPods, all the time.

  • Snack of choice: Sour candy fiends.

  • Podcast pick: “Classic – how things work.”

🎶 Catch Marshutes live at the Woodlawn Theatre on September 13th along with Park and Justin Cross. Bring your energy, your dancing shoes, and your friends.
